PATIL) This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 15.09.2022 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.18328/2022. The operative portion of the order reads as under: "4. Consequently, this writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to the 4th respondent - Tahsildar to consider the representations given by the petitioners and in the light of the observations made hereinabove, verify the original records in the presence of the petitioners and pass necessary orders to enter the name of the petitioners in the land revenue records as expeditiously as possible and at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order." 2. The accused has filed the affidavit of the Tahasildar, Gubbi Taluk, Tumakuru District, dated 09.03.2023 along with an endorsement dated 15.12.2022. The endorsement is issued to the complainant Nos.1 and 2 - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:50869-DB C.C.C. No.28/2023 indicating that the land claimed by the complainants is a forest land and that it is not granted. 3. Be that as it may, now the endorsement is issued. The contempt proceedings cannot be proceeded. 4. Learned AGA, on instructions from the Tahasildar, submits that similar endorsement would be issued to complainant Nos.3 and 4. 5. Said submission is placed on record. 6. In view of the above, the contempt proceedings are dropped reserving liberty to the complainants to challenge the endorsement, if so advised.
