Learned High Court Government Pleader is directed to take notice for the respondents. 2. The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 - Tahasildar, Bantwala Taluk, D.K.District to issue Saguvali chit in favour of the petitioner. 3. It is the contention of the petitioner that the Committee for regularization of unauthorised occupation passed an order on 26.12.2017 in favour of the

petitioner’s mother Smt.Rathnavathi granting 2 acres and 45 cents of land in Sy.No.218/4AP of Manila Village, Bantwala Taluk, Dakshina Kannada District. However, the petitioner’s mother passed away on
15.09.2020. Thereafter, the petitioner has filed an application before the respondent No.2 seeking issuance of Saguvali chit. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 - Tahasildar to consider the representation given by the petitioner, verify from the records and find out if such an order was passed by the committee granting lands in favour of the petitioner’s mother.
If the said fact is true, then the Tahasildar shall call upon the petitioner herein to furnish the details of the legal heirs of Smt.Ratnavathi and thereafter proceed to issue Saguvali chit in favour of the legal representatives of late Smt.Ratnavathi, after collecting the kimmat. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. - 4 -
