Issue a Writ of certiorari to quash the notice of respondent No.4, bearing No.SakaaE/Pa4/SaLe/23- 24/2296 dated 16/01/2024 (Annexure-A) and the letter No.Sa.Kaa.A/No.2/Ka.U.V-2/ViSou/2023-24 dated 05/06/2023 (Annexure-A1) b. Issue a writ of mandamus to respondent No.4 not to insist for the permission from the respondent No.3 or any other authority; 3. Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. Suffice it to note that a communication was issued by the Assistant Executive Engineer to the petitioner on 16.01.2024 intimating the petitioner to furnish certain documents within seven days, failing which they would take appropriate steps to disconnect the electricity power supply. Counsel Sri.Pawan Kumar., submits that the petitioner may be directed to submit a reply and the authority would consider the same in accordance with the law. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:26829 WP No. 5552 of 2024 The oral submission made by counsel Sri.Pawan Kumar., is placed on record. The petitioner is directed to submit a suitable reply to the communication within two weeks from the receipt of certified copy of this order. Upon receipt of such reply, the authority concerned shall consider the same in accordance with the law. The BESCOM authority shall not precipitate the matter to disconnect the power supply till the consideration of the reply that would be submitted by the petitioner. 5. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Needless to observe the petitioner shall pay the regular consumption charges. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
