Heard the parties.
The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Keredari P.S. Case No. 04 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 17(b)/18(b)/22(b)/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Hazaribagh. On 06.01.2025, Keredari Police apprehended co-accused Baijnath Mahto and seized 700 grams of opium from his possession. It was submitted that name of the petitioners has transpired in the confession of co-accused Baijnath Mahto. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused person has been granted bail by this Court earlier. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Hazaribagh, in connection with Keredari P.S. Case No. 04 of 2025.
