This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents not to cut down the trees standing on Gata No. 788, admeasuring 0.7730 hectare, situated at Mauja-Dharampur Sato, Pargana-Hanswa, Tehsil-Sadar, District-Fatehpur. 2. Submissions have been made that father of the petitioner had planted trees and after his death, the petitioner is looking after those trees and that the respondents are proposing to construct a power station over the land in question and therefore, they may be restrained from cutting the trees in question. 3. Instructions have been produced, inter alia, indicating that the petitioner has already filed a suit before the Civil Judge (Junior Division) in the year 2024, which continues to remain pending and that the intention of the petitioner is to grab the land in question, which cannot be permitted. 4. In view of the fact that petitioner has already filed a suit before the competent Civil Court, which is pending, we do not find any reason to entertain the present petition, purportedly in public interest, the same is, therefore, dismissed.
