By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent no. 1 State of U.P. through its Principal Secretary Agriculture, Government of U.P. Lucknow to consider notional promotions of the petitioner in the cadre of Class II and Class I from due dates i.e. juniors to the petitioner have been given, within stipulated time as may be fixed by the Hon'ble Court." It is submitted that in the above regard petitioner has already approached the authority by making a representation on 01.05.2025, copy whereof has been brought on record as Annexure No. 7 to the petition. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1 to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that respondent no. 1 shall consider the grievance of the petitioner raised in his representation and decide the same within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to add the order to be passed by the competent authority, as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one.
