Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
2. It is the contention of the petitioner that her husband filed application in Form No.50 in the year 1991 seeking regularization of unauthorised occupation of 3 acres 37 guntas of land in Survey No.21 of Indumangala Village, Lakkur Hobli, Malur Taluk, Kolar District, and the Committee passed an order on 03.08.2015 recommending

grant of 4 acres of land in favour of the petitioner’s husband. The petitioner’s husband died in the year 2017 and till date the Saguvali chit is not issued in favour of the petitioner and revenue entries are not made in favour of the petitioner.
3. Having regard to the
facts narrated hereinabove, this Court is of the considered opinion that respondent No.2-Tahsildar is duty bound to consider the representation given by the petitioner and proceed in accordance with law.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Tahsildar, Malur Taluk to verify from the records as to whether Sri. Anjinappa had filed an application in *Form No.50, Form No.53 or Form No.57 seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation. If it is found that Sri. Anjinappa had infact filed such an application, and orders were passed by the Committee then the Tahsildar shall collect the premium from the petitioner and issue Saguvali Chit to the petitioner. other hand, if the application has not been considered, the Tahsildar shall place the application before the Committee along with his recommendation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The committee shall consider the application while also enquiring as to whether the petitioner is the sole surviving legal heir of *Sri. Anjinappa and, if that is so, proceed to pass orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date when the application is placed by the Tahsildar before the Committee.
5. Learned High Court Government Pleader is permitted to file memo of appearance within a period of four weeks from today.
