1. Heard Mr. M. Ahmed, the learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S.H. Bora, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam.

2. This application under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Ramez Ali @Raju Ali, who is apprehending his arrest by the police of Dispur police station, however, he was unable to give any details about any pending FIR or any P.S. Case registered in the said police station and accordingly, a report was called for, as to whether any FIR has been registered against the present petitioner or any police station case has been registered in the said police station.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Ms. S.H. Bora has furnished the report received by the Officer-In-Charge of Dispur police station, inter alia, stating that no police station case against the petitioner, Ramez Ali @Raju Ali, has been registered in the Dispur police station.
4. In view of the above, there appears to be no apprehension of the petitioner getting arrested as apprehended by him.
5. This anticipatory bail application is accordingly dismissed.
