This Court, vide order dated 23.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 4027 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Bade @ Barai Kumar Nat had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Kabirdham District- Kabirdham (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 23.01.2025 has requested KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, the prosecution presented a list of 14 witnesses, out of which 7 witnesses have been examined and 1 witness has been given up by the prosecution. Despite repeated summons and warrants issued since 09/08/2024, three witnesses - Kamlesh Dohare, Ajay Baghel, and Vinay Jangde, have not appeared, citing imprisonment without specifying the crime or jail. The prosecution has instructed the relevant police station in-charge to issue summons and warrants, but the witnesses' presence remains uncertain. As important witnesses, their absence has also delayed. Hence the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time. Therefore, she prays for grant of further more time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today. 6.
