ORAL ORDER
1. The petitioner being aggrieved by not upgrading Gangolli Gram Panchayath to a Town Panchayath, has made a representation to the respondents in this regard. On the ground that the representation has not been considered, the present writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct respondent No.1 to consider the request of the petitioner.

2. Admittedly, no right of the petitioner has been violated. It is for the State/Authorities to decide as to whether a Gram Panchayath has to be upgraded to Town Panchayath or not.
3. For that reason, the writ petition is hereby dismissed.
4. Pending interlocutory applications, if any, stand
disposed of.
