Order on Board 14/02/2025
1. Heard Mr. Ravi Kumar Bhagat, learned counsel petitioners as well as Mr. Rishabh Bisen, learned Panel Lawyer for State/respondents.
2. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking confirmation on the post of Lecturer (Panchayat) from the date of completion of her probation Digitally signed by SHAYNA KADRI
2 period i.e. w.e.f. December, 2019 at par with the cases of similarly situated employees.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner was appointed as Lecturer (Panchayat) on 15.12.2017 and completed two years probation period in December, 2019, however, no order with regard to her confirmation has been passed. It is further contention of
learned counsel for petitioner that similarly situated employees have been confirmed after completion of probation period. He would further submit that even the representation submitted by petitioner has not been decided.
4. Considering the limited nature of relief claimed at this stage, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that in the event the petitioner submits representation before the competent authority residing her grievance for her confirmation immediately after completion of probation period, the said competent authority shall consider and decide her representation in accordance with law, on its own merits, considering as to whether the similarly placed candidates have already been confirmed and pass speaking order on merits within a period of three months from the date of submission of representation.
5. Accordingly, this petition stands disposed of with aforesaid observations and directions.
