Today when the matter was called out for hearing, nobody has appeared on behalf of the petitioners. On the previous date of hearing also, none appeared for the petitioners. The Compliance Report stands filed on behalf of the respondents. As per the said Compliance Report, the claim of the petitioners was considered in light of the judgement passed by the Writ Court and same was found to be devoid of any merit. In this regard, respondents have issued the Government Order No. 517/JK/(HME) of 2023 dated 20th of July, 2023. In view of the fact that the respondents have considered the claim of the petitioner and found it to be devoid of any merit, the order of the Writ Court stands complied with. Therefore, the respondents cannot be proceeded against. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings are closed and the contempt petition is
disposed of, leaving it open to the petitioners to challenge the consideration order passed by the respondents by way of an appropriate proceedings.
