This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "I. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature mandamus commanding and directing to decide restoration application dated 10.06.2014 which is pending, in case No. 117 of 2000-2001 (Ram Kali Vs. Kailashi and others) Under Section of the U.P. Z.A. & L.R. Act before respondent No.2/Sub- Divisional Officer Phulpur Allahabad." It is contended that restoration application registered as Case No.117 of 2000-2001 is pending consideration before respondent no.2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said restoration application may be decided expeditiously. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit, the matter is being disposed of, at the admission stage, with a direction upon respondent no.2/ Sub Divisional Officer, Phulpur, Allahabad to decide the restoration application registered as Case No.117 of 2000-2001, after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
