No. 212 of 2024 arising out of Chandil / Kapali P.S. Case No. 150 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 369 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 140(2), 75 read with section 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Chandil. 3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide B.A. No. 8087 of 2024 by order dated 25.11.2024. 4. On 02.07.2024 at about 10.00 a.m., petitioner had abducted the victim. He was tied and put in the dickey of a vehicle. He was taken to Ghatsila. Petitioner demanded Rs. 4.5 lakhs as ransom. However, police managed to rescue the victim and petitioner was apprehended from the place of occurrence. 5. Mr. Arun Kumar Pandey, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, submitted that charge has been framed in this case on 08.01.2025 and the prosecution has not examined any witness. It was further submitted that the mother of the petitioner is very serious. 6. Considering the nature of allegation the fact that the trial has already commenced, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
