Dutta, learned counsel for the applicant has filed an instant applicant for condoning the delay of 617 days in filing the application for substitution. The learned counsel submits that the delay of 617 days has been explained at page 4 to 6 of the applicantion. Mr. M. Alamgeer, learned counsel for the respondents is present, who submits that he has no objection to the I.A. Since, no objection has been raised by the learned counsel for the respondents, the Court allowed the delay of 617 days in filing the substitution application, on being satisfied with the explanation given at paragraphs 4 to 6 of the I.A which is not due to any laches or negligence. Accordingly, the I.A./507/2024 stands allowed and disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
