Therefore, the respondents may be directed to take appropriate steps for acquisition of the lands of the petitioners in accordance with law.

4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties, pleadings and the representations submitted by the petitioners.
5. From perusal of the writ petition, it appears that initially the petitioners have filed the petition for stopping of the construction over their lands and alternatively prayed to initiate the proceeding under Section 13 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. It is also appears from the contention of the petitioners that the lands of the petitioners have been utilized for construction of bridge and road.
6. Hence, the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) is directed to conduct the spot inspection and demarcate the lands of the petitioners within a period of 50 days from today and if it is found that the lands of the petitioners have been utilized for construction of road and bridge, the competent authority shall proceed further for acquisition of land of the petitioners and shall make payment of compensation in accordance with law.
