Mondal, learned counsel for the petitioners after attempting to argue the matter at some length, submits that he be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition and to contest the Title Suit being Title Suit No.8/2022, instituted by the respondent no.6, herein. He submits that the amount i.e. now assessed by the competent authority as compensation for the acquisition of the land involved be not released to any of the parties, during the pendency of the Title Suit. Mr. G. Uddin, learned counsel for the respondent no.6, submits that he has no objection to the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. In view of the above position, the present Writ Petition stands dismissed on withdrawal, however, it is directed that the Competent Authority for Land Acquisition, District-Hojai, shall not released the compensation amount either to the petitioners or the respondent no.6, pending disposal of the Title Suit No.8/2022, presently pending before the Court of the learned Munsiff- Hojai, Shankardev Nagar.
