This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to finally decide the application dated 25.03.2023 filed under section 67-A of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 by the petitioner before the respondent no.2 registered as case no. 6271 of 2023, computerized case no. T202314360606271 (Saroja Devi Vs. State) in a time bound manner preferably within a period of one month." It is contended that an application dated 25.03.2023 filed under Section 67-A of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 is pending consideration, which is registered as Case No.6271 of 2023 (Computerized No.T202314360606271). The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said application. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no.2- Deputy Collector, Madhiyahun, Jaunpur to decide Case No.6271 of 2023 (Computerized No.T202314360606271) filed under Section 67-A of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
