NO. 5496 OF 2025 3 P.V.KUNHIKRISHNAN, J. -------------------------------- B.A. No.5496 of 2025 ---------------------------------------------- Dated this the 11th day of April, 2025 ORDER The petitioner is apprehending arrest from respondents 1 and 2 in a crime registered at Krishnagiri Police Station. I am of the considered opinion that this Court has no jurisdiction to grant bail to the petitioner under Section 482 of BNSS because the case is registered at Krishnagiri Police Station at Tamil Nadu. At this stage, the counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to appear before the jurisdictional court and in the meanwhile, there is apprehension of arrest within the State of Kerala. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, there can be direction to the Police Authorities not to arrest the petitioner for a period of two weeks within the State of Kerala. In the meanwhile the petitioner can approach the jurisdictional court with appropriate application. 2025:KER:31809 BAIL APPL. NO. 5496 OF 2025 4 Therefore, this bail application is disposed of directing the Police Authorities not to arrest the petitioner for a period of three weeks within the jurisdiction of this Court. In the meanwhile the petitioner shall appear before the jurisdictional court and free to file appropriate application in accordance with law.
