JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned Counsel for the petitioners points out from the daily order dated 13.08.2025 that this Court has overruled office objections at Sl.Nos.1 and 2 while taking note of the fact that office objections at Sl.Nos.3 and 4 are complied. 2. Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that by order dated 23.07.1999, this Court in W.P.No.2105/1997 set aside the order dated 01.06.1982 passed by the Land Tribunal and remitted the matter back to the Land Tribunal for disposing of the application filed by the petitioner afresh in accordance with law. However, till date, no orders have been passed by the Land Tribunal or the competent authority i.e., Special Deputy Commissioner for Inams Abolition. Therefore, the prayer in the writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the matter in LRF (Ka) VWR 16/1978-79, to be placed before the Special Deputy Commissioner for Inams - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33448 WP No. 23197 of 2025 Abolition and the Special Deputy Commissioner should be directed to consider the application and dispose of the same in accordance with law. 3. Learned AGA was directed to secure instructions from respondents No.3 and 4 as to whether the application filed by the petitioners’ grandfather Late Revanna Siddaiah, is still pending consideration before the Land Tribunal or Special Deputy Commissioner for Inams Abolition. 4. Learned AGA submits on instructions that the application filed by the petitioners’ grandfather late Sri Revana Siddaiah is still pending consideration before the Land Tribunal, Magadi. 5. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Land Tribunal, Magadi, to take up the application filed by the petitioners’ grandfather late Sri Revana Siddaiah in terms of the orders passed in W.P.No.2105/1997 dated 01.06.1982, issue notice to all concerned and thereafter dispose of the application as - 6 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:33448 WP No. 23197 of 2025 expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. Consequently, the impugned order dated 29.06.2025 at Annexure ‘A’ passed by respondent No.5 is hereby quashed and set aside.
