Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for a while, has restricted his prayer to direct the Court of Additional Special Judge, Anti-Corruption, Srinagar, to release petitioner’s service book after retaining its certified copy for the purpose of updation. 2. Viewed in the above context, it will be futile to keep this petition pending on board and the same is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction that if the Drawing & Disbursing Officer concerned approaches the Court of Additional Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar, for release of petitioner’s service book for the purpose of updation, the said Court shall release the same after retaining its certified copy. However, Drawing & Disbursing Officer is directed that after updation, return the service book to the concerned Court if required by it. 3. Disposed of along with connected CM(s).
