Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Bariyatu P.S. Case No. 30 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 385, 387 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of the CLA Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar. Petitioner along with co-accused demanded rangdari from the informant. It was submitted that no money was transferred to the accused persons. It was further submitted that co-accused Amlesh Kumar Yadav @ Amlesh Yadav has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.7429 of
2024. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar in connection with Bariyatu P.S. Case No. 30 of 2024.
