This writ petition has been preferred against the judgment and order dated 23.04.2024 passed by the Additional Police Commissioner, Commissionerate, Ghaziabad in case no.186 of 2024, under Section 2/3 of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970, P.S. Crossing Republic Ghaziabad and order dated 10.06.2024 passed by the Commissioner, Meerut Division, Meerut in case no.1083 of 2024, under Section 6 of U.P. Control of Goondas Act, 1970. 2. The main order has been passed under Section 2/3 of UP Control of Goondas Act, which is effective only for six months. The period of externment got over on 22.10.2024, hence, with efflux of time the matter has become infructuous. 3. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
