ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is seeking for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent No.2-Bangalore University, to conduct examinations for Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) UG for non-equivalent subjects which were not conducted by respondent No.2 within a fixed time period and also to consider the representation dated 12.06.2024 given by the petitioner at Annexure ‘L’.
2. The co-ordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.No. 16572/2023 dated 15.07.2024, has granted relief to a similarly placed individual.
3. Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that efforts would be made by the respondent-University to

conduct the examinations for the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.
4. In the considered opinion of this Court, the benefit extended in W.P.No.16572/2023 is required to be given to the petitioner herein as well. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. In the event the respondents do not hold examinations within a period of six months from today, the petitioner will be at liberty to seek for revival of the petition.
