This is third petition preferred under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.74 dated 05.07.2023 under Sections 420, 465, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station SGN Dev Thermal Plant, District Bathinda. 2. While granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail by this Court on 04.07.2025, the following contentions were noticed by this Court and the same have been reproduced below:- “Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that this third petition has been filed seeking anticipatory bail, in view of material change in the circumstances, as a compromise has been effected between the parties on 09.04.2025, as discernible from Annexure P-3 and the complainant as well as other two connected persons undertook to make the statement in favour of the petitioner before any Court of law, in term HITESH 2025.08.07 09:17 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/judgment High Court, Chandigarh CRM-M-33984-2025 -2 of the compromise (Annexure P-3). Further, the petitioner is a household lady and is having two minor children”. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has reiterated the submissions and further submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for further investigation. 4. Learned State counsel also submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for further investigation. 5. In view of the above statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the interim order dated 04.07.2025 is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join the investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall also abide by the conditions as specified under Section 482 (2) of B.N.S.S.
