With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to pass orders on petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2025 by conducting an enquiry and to grant patta. 3. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the petitioner's father purchased the land measuring 1.20 acres under a registered Sale Deed dated 22.03.1979. Thereafter, the petitioner and his family have been in continous possession and cultivation of the said land. Further, he would submit that out of the total extent, 20 cents were settled in favour of the 1st Respondent for road access in 2004. Upon the demise of the petitioner father, Patta was transferred to legal heirs. However, the patta issued in 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.31715 of 2025 favour of the Petitioner covers only 80 cents instead of 1 acre, excluding the 20 cents. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 12.02.2025 to the respondents. Therafter, the 2nd respondent by communication dated 28.03.2025 directed the 3rd respondent to conduct enquiry and pass orders, who inturn forwarded the same to the 4th respondent vide comunication dated 28.04.2025. Since,no action has been taken on the said representation till date, the petitioner is before this Court by way of this Writ Petition. 5. The learned Government Advocate (Taxes) appearing for the respondents has stated no objection for the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner. 6. In view of the limited scope of relief sought for in this writ petition and also in view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 12.12.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.31715 of 2025 period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and other parties concerned and thereafter communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 7.
