The present second petition under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed for quashing of FIR No.11 dated 24.01.2023, registered at Police Station Sadar, Hoshiarpur, District Hoshiarpur, under Sections 323, 452, 354, and 34 of the IPC and Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Annexure P-1), along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom. Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that charges were framed on 21.11.2024 and out of a total of 18 prosecution witnesses, three have been examined till date and one has given up.
