THIS PETITION, COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, ORDER WAS MADE THEREIN AS UNDER:

ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer:
“WHEREFORE, the petitioner in the above petition prays that this honourable court be pleased to grant the following reliefs; [a] Issue writ of mandamus or writ of like nature directing the respondents to consider and dispose of the representation dated 12.06.2025 made by the petitioner to the respondents in respect of the writ petition schedule property produced and marked as ANNEXURE 'P' to the writ petition within a limited time frame. [b] Costs, grant any other writ, directions or orders of like nature as this honourable court may deem fit to grant in the circumstances involved in the case to meet the ends of justice and equity.”

2. Heard Sri C. Shankar Reddy, learned counsel for petitioner, Sri Spoorthy Hegde N., learned High Court Government Pleader for respondent No.1 and Sri Ajay Kumar,
learned counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3.

The petitioner is said to be the subsequent purchaser from the hands of the owners of the property, which becomes the subject matter of acquisition for the purpose of formation of Shivarama Karanth Layout. Venting out the grievance, the petitioner, on the score that he is in possession of the property has submitted representation on 12.06.2025 and non-
consideration of which, has driven the petitioner to this Court in the subject petition.
4. Sri Ajay Kumar, learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3 would submit that if it would be a direction simpliciter to consider the representation of the petitioner, it would be considered in accordance with law and appropriate orders would be passed.
5. In the light of the said submission, without going into the merit of the claim of the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to

direct the respondents – Bengaluru Development Authority to consider the representation of the petitioner submitted on 12.06.2025, and pass necessary orders thereon, in accordance with law, within an outer limit of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the order so passed to the petitioner.
6. With the aforesaid direction, writ petition stands
disposed.
