The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following relief: "Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent No 1, the Superintendent Engineer (Electrical) to consider the representation dated 03/02/2025 submitted by the Petitioner produced at Annexure 'A' thereby to take necessary action to construct collapsed portion of compound wall and to take proper steps for the free flow of the rain water in their property by removing all obstacles in accordance with law and to grant such other reliefs as this Honourable court deems fit under the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice." 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that several high- tension line poles have been installed in the property of - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:49168 WP No. 25988 of 2025 the petitioner bearing Survey No.58, Peenya Industrial Suburb, II Stage, Yeshwanthapur Hobli, Bangalore North Taluk. 3. The said high-tension line poles have not been maintained properly and as such, there was no free flow of rainwater from the property of respondent No.1 resulting in a compound wall of the petitioner abutting the property of respondent No.1 being adversely affected and collapsing on 02.06.2024. 4. The petitioner had made a representation to the respondent No.1 on 03.02.2025 for taking necessary action to reconstruct the collapsed portion of compound wall, after taking necessary steps to ensure free flow of rainwater so that there is no inundation of the property of the petitioner. The said representation not having been acted upon, the petitioner is before this Court seeking for the aforesaid reliefs. 5. Learned counsel for respondent No.1 on instruction submits that inspection of the property would be conducted and necessary action would be taken, given - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:49168 WP No. 25988 of 2025 eight weeks' time, by considering the said representation of the petitioner. 6.
