This is an application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, whereby the petitioner, Kusha Chandra Dewri, has prayed for pre-arrest bail in connection with Dispur P.S. Case No. 87/2025 under Section 69 of the BNS (G.R. Case No. 625/2025). Page No.# 2/2 After the demise of the wife of the present petitioner, he developed relationship with the informant. But later on, the informant came to know that the petitioner is interested in another woman. It may be stated that during the relationship, the petitioner developed physical relationship with the informant. Since the petitioner has shown interest in some other woman, the informant lodged the FIR. I have considered the submissions of both sides. This Court is of the opinion that all the parties involved in this matter are adults and they have done everything on their own. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody. As such, the pre-arrest bail application is allowed. Accordingly, it is provided that in the event of arrest, the petitioner, Kusha Chandra Dewri, shall be released on pre-arrest bail, in connection with the above noted case, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority.
