Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner questioning the order dated 16.09.1988 passed by District Inspector of Schools, Pratapgarh. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the Committee of Management initially appointed the petitioner as Officiating Principal on 07.07.1981 being senior most teacher in the Institution. Subsequently, when the Committee of Management wanted to appoint the petitioner as principal on substantive post, the 4th respondent vide order dated 16.09.1988 directed the petitioner to handover charge of the principal to one Hari Shanker Pandey. 4. Questioning the said order, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner. 5. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the record, it reveals that in pursuance of the interim order granted by this Court on 05.10.1988, the petitioner has continued in service and subsequently has retired.
