Issue, a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2- Additional Commissioner, (Judicial) Varanasi Region, District-Varanasi to decide the revision bearing case No.00688/2021, computerized No.C202114000000688 (Paras Nath and others Vs. State of U.P.) under section 219 of U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901, pending before him since 25.03.2021 within stipulated period." It is contended that revision filed against the proceedings under Section 33/39 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act is pending consideration before respondent no.2- Additional Commissioner (Judicial), Varanasi Region, Varanasi, which is registered as Case No.00688 of 2021 (Computerized Case No.C202114000000688). The sole prayer made in the writ petition is to expeditiously decide the said revision. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or issuing notice to the private respondents, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no.2- Additional Commissioner (Judicial), Varanasi Region, Varanasi to decide revision which is registered as Case No.00688 of 2021 (Computerized Case No.C202114000000688) filed against the proceedings under Section 33/39 of U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
