An affidavit on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Gurugram has been filed and the same is taken on record. 2. Learned State counsel while referring to the affidavit stated that upon further scrutiny of the case, it was found that the concerned police officer who did not register the FIR, failed to perform his duty properly and against him disciplinary proceedings have been ordered and now FIR No. 14 dated 14.01.2025 under Section 306 IPC has been registered against accused Vikas. He also referred to para Nos.12 and 13 of the said affidavit to state that the Deputy Commissioner of Police, West Gurugram, had directed the SHO of Police Station, Rajendra Park, Gurugram to personally conduct the investigation of the case and the Commissioner of Police has further directed the Deputy Commissioner of Police, West Gurugram to personally supervise the investigation on a fortnightly basis.
