ORAL ORDER Learned HCGP takes notice for all the respondents.
2. It is the contention of the petitioner that her father-in-law late Channappa S/o. Nanjappa was granted land at the hands of the Committee for Regularization of unauthorised occupation. However, the Tahasildar failed to collect the Kimath at the hands of the petitioner’s father-

in-law or the petitioner’s husband during their lifetime. After the death of the petitioner’s husband, petitioner has given several representations to the respondent to issue Saguvali Chit in favour of the petitioner.
3. Having regard to the
facts narrated hereinabove, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 – Tahasildar, Doddaballapura Taluk, to verify from the records as to whether the petitioner’s father-in-law late Channappa S/o. Nanjappa had filed an application seeking regularization of unauthorised occupation of 1 acre in Sy.No.68 (New Sy.No.125) of Nagenahalli Vaillage, Madhure Hobli, Doddaballapura Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District. The Tahasildar shall also find out as to whether any orders were passed by the Committee for Regularization of unauthorised occupation. If it is true that such application was filed at the hands of the petitioner’s father-in-law but not considered, the Tahasildar shall place the application along with his recommendation before the Committee or if

it is found that the application was considered and orders were passed by the Committee, then the Tahasildar shall proceed to issue notice to the petitioner for payment of Kimath after ascertaining whether the petitioner is the only surviving legal heirs of late Channappa S/o. Nanjappa, in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
