1. Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioners have approached this Court by way of instant Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of appropriate direction to respondents No.1 and 2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.3 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already submitted a representation dated 24.06.2025 (Annexure P-7 to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh and he shall be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to look into the matter and take appropriate steps, in accordance with law.
3. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 and 2 only at this stage.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and after going through the case file, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh-respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 24.06.2025 (Annexure P-7) and decide the same by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly as per law, within a period of two weeks from today.
