Upamanyu, learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 & 2; Mr. B. Boro, learned counsel for the respondent Nos.3 & 4 and Mr. H.K. Das, learned counsel for the respondent No.5. 2. The petitioner’s challenge is to the appointment of the respondent No.5 as Assistant Professor in English in Guwahati College, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati, with regard to the marks given to him during the interview. The petitioner’s grievance is that the marks given to the petitioner were too less and should have been more. 3. On the other hand, Mr. H.K. Das, learned counsel for the respondent No.5 has submitted documents to show that the petitioner is now an Associate Professor and as such, the writ petition has become infructuous. The two documents submitted by Mr. H.K. Das showing that the petitioner is now an Associate Professor are made a part of the record and marked as Annexure-X & Y respectively. 4. In view of Annexure-X & Y showing the petitioner to be an Associate Professor, the writ petition has become infructuous. The same is accordingly closed as infructuous. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
