APARESH KUMAR SINGH =O=R=D=E=R= 07/05/2025 Respondent No.2, Additional Secretary & Director, Department of Higher Education has filed an affidavit after the previous order dated 02.05.2025 showing compliance. Statements have been made at paragraph Nos.2 and 3 supported by Annexure-R/1 dated 18.04.2025 and 05.05.2025. Mr. Dipankar Sharma, learned counsel for the State submits that the revised CAS benefits have been granted to the petitioner vide memo dated 18.04.2025. Thereafter, the department has clarified vide memo dated 05.05.2025 that consequential benefits to the petitioner will be provided as per CAS benefits effective from the date mentioned against each of the petitioners after calculation of re-fixation of AGP. It is under process. After completion of calculation it will be paid to the petitioner very shortly. Therefore, the order has been complied with. Consequential benefits in monetary terms would be released in favour of the petitioner within short time as the process is underway. Mr. Koomar Chakraborty, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the consequential benefits have not yet been disbursed to the petitioner. However, upon going through the show-cause and the enclosed documents, this Court is of the view that the order under offence has been complied with and consequential benefits are going to be released in a short time. Therefore, no case of contempt is made out. Accordingly, the instant contempt petition stands disposed of.
