Serial No.16 REGULAR CAUSE LIST HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT SRINAGAR OWP 496/2018 IA(1/2018) Abdul Ahad Mir And Ors. …Petitioner(s) Through: None. Vs. State of J&K and Others. ...Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Nadiya Abdullah, Assisting Counsel vice Mr. Mohsin S. Qadri, Sr. AAG. CORAM: Hon’ble Mr. Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal, Judge. ORDER 02.07.2025 03. The record reveals that none had appeared on behalf of the petitioners on 4th September, 2024 and thereafter a request for adjournment was made on account of non-availability of the learned arguing counsel for the petitioners. 01. Today, when the instant matter was taken up for consideration, there was once again no representation on behalf of the petitioners. It appears that the petitioners are no longer interested in prosecuting the present writ petition. May be the cause of action for which the instant writ petition was filed, no longer survives or may have been redressed by this point of time, which could be the reason that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 02. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated. (Wasim Sadiq Nargal) Judge SRINAGAR: 02.07.2025 “HAMID”
