Dhillon, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** SANJIV BERRY, J.(ORAL) The instant petition under Article 227 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for issuance of an appropriate writ or direction to the respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family at the hands of respondent No.4 and 5. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners, inter alia, contends that the petitioners, feeling aggrieved by the act and conduct of private respondents No. 4 and 5 and apprehending threats to their life and liberty had moved the representation dated 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-1) to the Director General of Police, Haryana, Police Headquarters, but till date no action thereon has been taken. He further submits that for the purpose of the petition, the petitioners will be satisfied if appropriate directions are given to respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation dated 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner. After hearing the respective submissions and perusing the record, without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the limited request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Director General of Police, Haryana, Police Headquarters, to consider and dispose of the representation dated 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner preferably within a period of two weeks from today after giving opportunity of being heard to the petitioner. 6.
