(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for not complying the issued vide interim order dated 31.3.2022 Bench of this Court in CWP Alliance Paints vs. Authorized Officer, Punjab National Bank and another” vide which notice of motion was issued to the respondents and it was observed and directed as follows : “….Prima facie, such a stand on the part of the respondents appears to be patently arbitrary and such economic duress cannot be accepted. Prayer in this petition is for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondent for not complying the directions 31.3.2022 (Annexure P-1) passed by a t in CWP-6685-2022 titled as “M/s Alliance Paints vs. Authorized Officer, Punjab National Bank and another” vide which notice of motion was issued to the respondents and it was observed and directed as follows :- “….Prima facie, such a stand on the part of the respondents appears to be patently arbitrary and such economic duress cannot be accepted. Copy of the aforesaid order dated 18.12.2023 produced by the learned counsel for the respondents is taken on record thereof is supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner. Registry to tag/paginate the same at appropriate place in the paper Learned counsel for the petitioner, although does not deny the aforesaid order dated 18.12.2023, however, submits there has been violation of the order dated 31.3.2022. Heard. In view of the facts submitted above, the present contempt petition is disposed of having been rendered infructuous. Rule stands discharged.
