JUSTICE PRADEEP SINGH YERUR ORAL ORDER Heard learned counsel for the petitioner Sri.Chandrasekhar C. 2. The present petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus for expeditious disposal of the suit in OS No. 480/2022, earlier registered as O.S No. 820/2020 pending - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:39791 WP No. 26432 of 2025 before the Principal Senior Civil Judge, Bengaluru Rural District, Bengaluru. 3. This Court does not find the need or necessity to issue notice to respondents as no relief is claimed against the respondents, nor are any adverse orders passed by this Court against the respondents. 4. The petitioner is none other than the defendant. The suit came to be filed by the respondents/plaintiffs for the relief of declaration and other consequential reliefs. The case was initially filed in the year 2020 and subsequently transferred to the Territorial Jurisdictional Court and renumbered as O.S No. 480/2022. 5. Defendant has filed a written statement. Presently the case is listed for cross examination of PW1. There is an interim order granted by the trial Court in favour of the respondents/plaintiffs. Before adverting to the merits of the matter, this court deems it appropriate to direct the trial Court to dispose of the matter expeditiously - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:39791 WP No. 26432 of 2025 in the interest of both the parties and in the interest of justice and equity. Accordingly, I pass the following order. ORDER 1. The writ petition is allowed. 2. The learned Principal Senior Civil Judge, Bengaluru Rural District, Bengaluru is directed to dispose of the matter O.S.No.480/2022, (old No O.S.No.820/2020) expeditiously, by giving priority. 3.
