1. Petitioner Ms. Adfar Madiha is present in person along with her counsel Mr. Z.A. Qureshi, Sr. Advocate assisted by Mr. Huzaif Ashraf, Advocate.
2. The respondent Showkat Ahmad Malik, who is father of the petitioner-Adfar Madiha, has acted in compliance with the directions of this Court given in terms of order dated 05.06.2024 in CFA No. 67/2008.
3. One of the directions operating in terms of said
order dated 05.06.2024 mandated upon the respondent was to deposit an amount of Rs. 10.00 lacs by way of FDR in the name of the petitioner-Adfar Madiha meant for her marriage purpose.
4. In terms of order dated 19.08.2025 Mr. M.A. Chashoo, Advocate (now Senior Advocate) representing the respondent has acted in compliance by depositing two FDRs bearing Nos. 0005050300884064 & 0005050300885666 dated 07.08.2025 total amounting to Rs. 10.00 lacs with Registrar Judicial, Srinagar.
5. The two FDRs obtain in the name of the petitioner and, therefore, are meant to realize the respective amounts covered by the two FDRs in her favour. The petitioner submits that she is engaged to get married soon and, therefore, this is appropriate time to release said two FDRs in her favour.
6. Registrar Judicial, Srinagar is, thus, directed to handover said two FDRs to and in favour of the petitioner-Adfar Madiha who shall thereupon be entitled to encash the same in order to meet marriage related expenses from the said amount.
7. This execution petition is now consigned to records.
8. The petitioner-Adfar Madiha to be identified by her counsel before the learned Registrar Judicial, Srinagar.
9. Disposed of.
