Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sadar Mahila P.S. Case No. 66 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 69, 89, 115(1) and 126(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of Smt. Archana Mishra, learned Civil Judge, Senior Division-XV, JMFC, Ranchi.
On the pretext of marriage, petitioner is alleged to have established consensual physical relationship with the prosecutrix, who is a major lady, aged about 21 years. Later on, petitioner refused to marry her.
Mr. Yogesh Modi, learned counsel appearing for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Smt. Archana Mishra, learned Civil Judge, Senior Division-XV, JMFC, Ranchi, in connection with Sadar Mahila P.S. Case No. 66 of 2024.
