1. In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for following relief/s:
“i. Issue a writ or direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to appoint the Petitioner on compassionate grounds by considering the representations of the Petitioner dated: 18/08/2018 and 27/08/2024 vide Annexure-D & E. ii. Pass such other relief or relief’s as this Hon’ble Court deems fit to grant under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.”
2. The case of the petitioner is that his father, Late Kondaiah, was working as a Junior Health Supervisor in the Solid Waste Management Department, Sarvajnanagara Division, BBMP. He died on 15.04.2018 while in service, leaving behind the petitioner and two daughters.

Thereafter, the petitioner submitted applications/ representations dated 18.08.2018 and 27.08.2024, vide Annexures-D and E, respectively, seeking appointment on compassionate grounds. So far, no order has been passed on the applications/representations submitted by the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has submitted that if this Court grants some reasonable time, the representations of the petitioner vide Annexures-D & E will be considered, in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of.
5. The respondents are directed to consider the applications/representations dated 18.08.2018 and 27.08.2024, vide Annexures-D and E, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this
order.

6. In view of disposal of petition, all pending I.As., if any, are disposed of accordingly.
