This is an appeal for anticipatory bail filed under Section 14 A(2) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 against order dated 17.06.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Special Court, Kaithal vide which appellant’s bail has been declined, in case FIR No.277 dated 04.09.2023 under Sections 148, 149, 323, 427, 447, 506 of the IPC, 1860 and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va), 3(iv) of the aforesaid Act, registered at Police Station Kalayat, District Kaithal. 2. Vide order dated 07.07.2025, the appellant was admitted to interim anticipatory bail, subject to the condition of furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of Investigating/Arresting Officer. The appellant was also directed to cooperate with the Investigating/Arresting Officer. 3. On the instructions of SI Ram Lal, P. S. Kalayat, District Kaithal, who is present in Court, learned State Counsel has stated that the appellant has joined the investigation. He has further stated that the presence of appellant is not required for the investigation of the present case. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present appeal is hereby allowed and the order dated 07.07.2025 granting interim bail to the appellant is hereby made absolute.
