Report of Warrant Officer dated 26.06.2025 received. As per said report, statement of petitioner Krishna Nandan (Annexure W-3) recorded. As per said statement, petitioner visited police station alongwith Warrant Officer where detenue Dev met in the office of SHO, Police Station Division No. 6, Ludhiana, who was present alongwith his counsel Sh. Jewan Naggar, Advocate and Vijay Kumar. Warrant Officer was informed that Dev was called for interrogation and thereafter, he was set free and was handed over to his father in the presence of Warrant Officer.

In view of aforesaid factual position, learned counsel representing petitioner states that he does not want to pursue present criminal writ petition and has instructions to withdraw the same.

In view of statement, present criminal writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
4.
Pending miscellaneous application, if any, shall also stands
disposed of accordingly.
