The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 24.07.2024 passed in Writ Petition No.19565/2023 (S-PRO). The operative part of the said order reads as under: "A. The petition stands disposed of directing the second respondent - the Director, Department of Municipal Administration - to issue appropriate orders for grant of promotion to the petitioner as a Manager with effect from 30.04.2015 and as an Office Assistant with effect from 21.01.2020 and to draw pension accordingly. B. The petitioner is reserved with liberty to file a certified copy of this order with the second respondent - within four [4] weeks from the date of receipt thereof. C. The second respondent is directed to issue appropriate orders as aforesaid within a period of eight [8] weeks from the date of receipt thereof." 2. The learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the accused has filed a compliance affidavit enclosing therewith an order dated 20.08.2025 granting the complainant retrospective - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:42128-DB CCC No. 704 of 2025 promotion from the post of First Division Assistant to the post of Office Manager with effect from 30.04.2015 and from the post of Office Manager to the post of the Office Superintendent with effect from 21.01.2020. 3.
