By this petition iled under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the Petitioner is seeking a direction for cancellation of registration certiicate dated 26th May 2023 issued by the City Engineer, Solapur Municipal Corporation in favour of Respondent No.4. 3. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that on 28th July 2025, Petitioner made a representation to the Commissioner of Solapur Municipal Corporation to initiate action against the Respondent No. 4 on the ground of production of fraudulent and bogus documents in one of the tender process in which the Petitioner was also an participant. Patil-SR 1 of 2 27 Wp-11599-2025.doc He submitted that it is the case of Petitioner that registration certiicate was obtained by Respondent No.4 through deliberate false disclosures and suppression of material facts. It is submitted that while procuring various tenders, Respondent No.4 had submitted false aidavit declaring that no close relative of Petitioner is employed with Solapur Municipal Corporation when in fact the sole proprietor’s husband was an employee of Solapur Municipal Corporation. 4. As the Petitioner has already approached the Respondent- Corporation by way of various representations, one of which is at page no.122 of the present petition (dated 1st September 2025), in the irst instance we request the Commissioner of Respondent-Corporation or any other oicer authorised by the Commissioner to look into such representations / complaints made by the Petitioner and take the same to their logical end, expeditiously. 5. We make it clear that we have not made any observations on the merits of representations / complaints and the same shall be decided on their own merits and strictly in accordance with law.
