By means of the present writ petition, a direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents police authority to provide the police protection to the petitioners against the respondent nos. 4 and 5 for peaceful life and liberty of the petitioners and not to interfere in their peaceful marital life, has been sought. 3. It is fairly submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that one First Information Report has been lodged against petitioner no.2 and as such there is hardly any case for extending prayer for seeking protection in favour of the petitioners. 4.
