This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer; "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and/or directing the Respondent no.2/Additional Commissioner (Administration-III) Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur to decide the Substitution Application Dated. 29.06.2022 and also the Revision No. 363/376/2003-2004, Computerized Case no. C2004050000842 (Champa Devi versus Jai Narayan & Others) under Section 333 of the U.P.ZA. & LR. Act 1950 after deciding the aforesaid substitution application, which are pending consideration before Respondent No.2 since 2004 and 2022, respectively, within stipulated period of time as may be fixed or determined by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended that substitution application dated 29.6.2022 is pending consideration before the respondent No. 2. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or issuing notice to the private respondents, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent No.2 to decide the substitution application dated 29.6.2022, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
